Turkish league leaders Istanbul Basaksehir have made an offer to sign Barcelona’s Arda Turan, according to Marca.
The Turkish international is in a long list of midfield options under Ernesto Valverde as Barca which includes Sergio Busquets, Andres Iniesta, Ivan Rakitic, Andre Gomes, Rafinha, Denis Suarez, Sergi Roberto, Paulinho and new signing Philippe Coutinho.
Valverde is keen to move the former Atletico Madrid man on and gain some extra funds, having spent big on both Ousmane Dembele and Coutinho.
Links with Premier League side Manchester United were rife before the English transfer window closed, whilst a potential loan move to former club Galatasaray was also mentioned.
After gaining interest from plenty of clubs, Arda reportedly told his agent of the three clubs he wants to join, which are said to be Besiktas, Everton or AC Milan.
But it is thought that lucrative offer form Basaksehir, who lead the Turkish league, is tempting the midfielder.
And Basaksehir president Goksel Gumusdag has been up front with his side’s interest, and was pictured on Tuesday meeting with the experienced midfielder.
“We want Arda to make history with us,” Gumusdag is quoted as saying by Marca.
Having moved to Barcelona two years ago, Arda has featured 53 times for Barca but his time on the playing field this season is yet to begin.
A move to either of the aforementioned sides is likely this month, with the former Atleti man having missed Barca’s open training session last week to pursue an exit.
