Barcelona winger Gerard Deulofeu could be leaving the Spanish club just six months after resigning for the club, Italian side Napoli are said to be interested in the 23 year old who has found it hard to get game time this season.
According to reports the players agent was in Naples on Wednesday trying to get a deal done, however there is one stumbling block in the deal and that is that Napoli want Barcelona to lower their asking price to 15-16 million Euros.
Deulofeu is said to have preferred a move to Inter Milan but the Milanese side were only willing to take the midfielder on loan with the option to buy at the end of the loan.
The Spaniard spent last season on loan at AC Milan so if he was to move to the Italian league he would know how to play in the league.
With the arrival of Ousmane Dembele in the summer and now Phillipe Coutinho in this winter window, the playing time for the Spaniard is set to be shortened.
Only having rejoined the club from Everton in the summer for £12m he has only made nine appearances for Ernesto Valverde’s side.
He is one of many players who are said to be free to leave the club, if reports are true then Deulofeu, Paco Alcacer, Arda Turan and Javier Mascherano will all be allowed to go.
Although he has been assured he is in the plans of national team manager Julen Lopetegui he has been told he must be playing regularly to be considered for the world cup in the summer.
