Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has issued a response to Real Madrid after various reports of interest from the Spanish club.
After holding talks this week regarding January transfers, Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane seemed to have focused his intentions on one of the Premier League’s top performers, Salah.
Struggling to gain any real form in La Liga, it seems Madrid are lacking real fire power in front of goal this season.
Five time Ballon D’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema have failed to reach the highs of seasons previous in goals and Gareth Bale has spent most of this half of the season injured.
Liverpool ace Salah has 20 goals in all competitions and is now one of the hottest properties in European football at present.
Whilst reports are changing on a daily basis in English and Spanish press regarding proposed interest from the Santiago Bernabeu, Salah has issued a response.
“Well, I have heard so many rumours it does not bother me anymore,” he told Soccer Laduma.
“But I have been treated very well at Liverpool and right now, I belong to Liverpool and I am happy at Anfield.
“Let us leave it at that.”
Having had a blistering season in Switzerland with Basel, Salah moved to Chelsea in 2014 but failed to impress during his time at Stamford Bridge.
The tricky winger would then move to Serie A with Roma, where he scored 35 goals in 81 games for the Italian side, before making a move to Anfield.
