Michael Olunga netted a 22 minute hat-trick for Girona as they thumped Las Palmas 6-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Girona captain Cristhian Stuani opened the scoring on 25 minutes from the penalty spot, before Olunga would score the first of his three for the afternoon.
Borja Garica was next on the scoresheet to make it 3-0, before Olunga added two more and was followed by Portu, who added some fine gloss on an excellent result for the Catalan minnows.
Elsewhere, it was a must-win game for Malaga which ended in defeat and could spelt the end of the road for coach Michel, who sacked promptly after the game.
