Angel scored a double as Getafe beat struggling Alaves 4-1 on Saturday afternoon. Pellegrino issues formal complaint against Alaves

Southampton boss Mauricio Pellegrino has issued a formal complaint against former club Alaves over unpaid money. Alaves have insisted that outstanding monies owed to Pellegrino have been paid, whilst conflicting reports claim they still owe half-a-million pounds. Pellegrino guided the La Liga club to the Copa del Rey final last season but left to take over at Premier League side Southampton. Real Madrid midfielder Marcos Llorente linked up with Alaves duo Ibai Gomez and Enzo Zidane on Monday for a training session. Alaves 1-0 Espanyol: Home side secure much needed three points

Alaves beat Espanyol 1-0 on Saturday evening thanks to a goal from Christian Santos after just 45 seconds on the clock. Gianni De Biasi’s men had lost nine of their opening 10 league games heading into the game, which made Quique Sanchez Flores’ visitors the favourites for all three points.
