Las Palmas have told Pako Ayestaran that his position is safe, despite another defeat on Sunday. Following the resignation of Manolo Marquez earlier this season, Ayestaran had been hired but faced a difficult start to life at the Gran Canarian side, meeting Barcelona in his first game in that famed ‘behind closed doors’ match.
